Meet The Cast!

Eric Loehr (John Tanner)

 

Eric is pleased to be making his New York City debut. He is a current masters student in musical theatre at New York University. NYU credits: EDEN, Celebration, Fiorello!, Casual Bob, Cendrillon. Eric also performs regularly as a singer/songwriter and has an album in post-production. Carly Frankel (Jenna Winters)

 

Carly Frankel recently took part in a reading of another new musical, Cloned!, which was a part of York Theatre's Developmental Reading Series. Other theater credits include That's Just Super (West Village Musical Theatre Festival), Camp Rolling Hills, All Shook Up (Mount Carmel Theatre Company), Hood (Red Door Theatre Company), Forbidden Office (Turnstyle Theatre Company), and Joshua. Dan Schrack (Eric Brewer)

 

Dan Schrack is a Niagara Falls, NY native and is excited to be a part of the first reading of The Coincidentals. At a young age Dan knew acting was his thing. His first show was Mame, in 1993 portraying Patrick Dennis. Favorite roles include Josh in Bang…Bang…You’re Dead, Nick Piazza in Fame and Matt in The Fantasticks. Dan also enjoys working in front of the camera, having made his TV debut in 2005, with commercials and additional television work since. In his down time Dan enjoys running with the New York Road Runners.

Daniel Palese is super excited to be a part of The Coincidentals! Having studied Musical Theater at Marymount Manhattan College, he appeared in such productions as Charles Strouse's An American Tragedy, Paul Scott Goodman's Bright Lights, Big City, Craig Lucas' Reckless, and Joseph Stein's Heaven Can Wait. Since graduation, he has been extremely fortunate enough to work with Composer/Lyricist Matt Walsh a number of times, most recently appearing in How's This Sound? Daniel would like to seriously thank Matt Walsh, Emma Jeszke, Sarah Simmons, and his wonderful family for all their talent and support. MALARKEY!

Daniel Palese (Todd Miller) 

Caitlyn Oenbrink (Sydney Morgan) 

Caitlyn Oenbrink is a recent "New Yorker" and a native of Charleston, South Carolina. She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor’s in Music and a minor in Public Relations. Past roles include: Marian in The Music Man, Dolly Parton in Lipstick and Gamblers: A Dolly Parton and Kenny Rogers Revue, the Narrator in Joseph and the Technicolor Dream Coat, and Princess Winifred in Once Upon A Mattress, Marcy Park in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Monica in The Medium, First Spirit in Cendrillon, Belinda in Mr. Scrooge. She is ever grateful for the unconditional love and support of her family, teachers, and friends.

Einar Gunn (Principal Hoover, Luc, Man)

Melody Baugh (Meredith Tanner, Jean Marcy)

Melody Baugh is thrilled to be a part of this exciting new project.  Favorite roles include Grace in Annie; Vi Moore in Footloose; Miss Dorothy in Thoroughly Modern Millie; Linda Porter in Red, Hot and Cole; and Lola in Damn Yankees.  Melody loves to travel and spent many happy years singing and traveling the world on Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as well as two years singing in Tokyo, Japan.  When not performing Melody is an avid motorcyclist and cook.  Proud alumnist of  Brigham Young University.

Caitlin Wees (Ensemble, Tiffany, Teacher)

Caitlin is honored to be making her New York performance debut with The Coincidentals! BM Vocal Performance from Oklahoma City University, where she was a student of Florence Birdwell. Regional credits include: Sweeney Todd (Johanna), A Little Night Music (Anne), High School Musical 2 (Sharpay), Little Women (Amy). Directing credits: The Medium, The Telephone, Gallantry, Oedipus Tex. Thanks to Matt, Emma, Sarah Anne, and this amazing cast!

Michael Orlandi (Ensemble, Jason, Youth Group Member, Band Member)

Michael Orlandi hails from Long Island originally and is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. His most recent work as a member of the conservatory’s Company has included God of Carnage, The Rivals, Doubt, and The American Clock. Other New York credits include: Untitled Ramón Novarro Project (Your Name Here Queer Theatre Company), Paula’s Visitor (Strawberry One-Act Festival), and Bound for Broadway (JDProductions). Michael is very grateful to Sarah Anne, Emma, and Matt for giving him such an awesome new opportunity.

Katie Bland (Ensemble, Samantha)

Katie is thrilled to be working with this creative team on The Coincidentals.  She recently had her Off-Broadway debut as Alta in Voca People at New World Stages.  She also premiered her solo show this year at The Duplex with Katie Bland: They're in Love, Where Am I? to a sold out crowd.  Other favorite roles include Bettina in The Hills Are Alive! The Musical, and Shelby in The Spitfire Grill. Proud graduate of Webster University.  Go Gorloks!

Philip McLeod (Ensemble, Youth Group Leader, Band Member, Karl)

Philip McLeod is a recent graduate from The College of Wooster with a degree in music education.  For the last three years, he has been living and working in DC before deciding to make the full leap into the life a working actor in New York. Some of his favorite roles include Melchior (Spring Awakening), Claude (Hair), and Mercutio (Romeo and Juliet).  Philip's next project will be playing the role of Gay Doubleentendre in Showgirls the Musical at the Kraine Theatre.
